Аннотация
Резюме. Возбудитель Ку-лихорадки, Coxiella burnetii, является достаточно необычным внутриклеточным патогеном, обладающим значительно большими транспортными и метаболическими способностями, нежели микроорганизмы со сходной паразитической стратегией. Предполагается, что разные штаммы патогена находятся на разных стадиях процесса патоадаптации и обладают различным вирулентным потенциалом. В обзоре рассматривается структура генома C. burnetii, особенности метаболических путей, механизмы взаимодействия с клеткой хозяина и возможные факторы вирулентности. Особое внимание уделяется методам генотипирования коксиелл и возможной корреляции между геномным полиморфизмом различных штаммов и их вирулентным потенциалом.
