Аннотация
Резюме. Установление и изучение многочисленных функций всех генов человека является одной из главных задач современной биологической науки. Вследствие высокой степени гомологии между мышиным и человеческим геномами, важная роль в решении этой задачи принадлежит мышиной модели, использование которой в классической генетике особенно возросло в связи с выведением различных инбредных мышиных линий. Так, например, различия в иммунном ответе к инфекциям в разных мышиных линиях были неоднократно использованы для нахождения иммунологически компетентных генов. Именно поэтому трудно переоценить вклад мышиной модели в понимание механизмов иммунного ответа к инфекциям. В данном обзоре приведены некоторые из наиболее успешных и известных примеров использования мышей в изучении противоинфекционного ответа.
